Micross Components Receives Raytheon IDS Supplier Excellence Award
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- Micross Components (“Micross”), a global provider of specialty electronic components with a 35 year history in providing authentic, high-reliability products, was presented with the Raytheon Integrated Data Systems (Raytheon IDS) 4-Star Supplier Excellence award on May 27, 2015.
Raytheon IDS’ annual Supplier Excellence Awards program recognizes suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on criteria including overall quality, on-time delivery and demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. Fewer than 3% of Raytheon IDS suppliers achieve such distinction. The 4-Star Award bestowed on Micross recognizes the 97% quality and on-time delivery ratings achieved by Minco Technology Labs (Minco) over a 12-month period. Minco was acquired by Micross earlier this year.
“Each of our employees contributes to this accomplishment and deserves recognition for their hard work and dedication to the goal of meeting our customers’ needs,” states David Harrison, Product Marketing Engineer. “Product quality and customer focus are values that Micross embraces.”
“Micross is committed to providing excellence to our customers,” notes Tony Hamby, Micross Chief Commercial Officer. “We are pleased to acknowledge the talent and achievement this award recognizes. Micross serves its customers with a broad suite of solutions, services and support, and we continue to drive improvements in our business to deliver world class services and products to our Customers, both domestically and internationally.”
