Microtech-Tel is the new “NewCloud Networks™” as of January 1, 2014
Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 -- Microtech-Tel, a Denver-based Cloud services provider, has announced that as of January 1, 2014, the company will change its name to NewCloud Networks™ to reflect the new generation of Cloud services they have offered since 2011. “Our customers will continue to enjoy the superior customer service they are accustomed to” says Vu Tran, Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering. “Nothing has changed except the name. This is not an acquisition or buy out of any kind,” says Sam V. Kumar, Founder. “We are operating from the same office with the same employees our customers have come to know. Most of NewCloud’s™ services are offered in the Cloud, hence the name 'NewCloud Networks™.'”
The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in October of 2013. Since 2011, when the company introduced their Cloud services to the national market, NewCloud ™ has acquired business from 25 states across the country and is projected to reach 40 states by the end of 2014. NewCloud’s™ success in expanding across the country is in large part due to its channel partner program. “Our channel partners have been instrumental in our success as a Cloud provider. Their customer relationships have made it possible for our business to grow rapidly. We look forward to expanding our channel in the near future and moving into more markets.” NewCloud’s™ target prospects are small to mid-sized enterprises with 25 to 1,000 employees.
NewCloud Networks' ™ best of breed services are hosted in the company’s state-of-the-art data center in the Denver Tech Center. This primary data center is connected to redundant locations in Colorado. NewCloud™ will be inaugurating a data center in Phoenix, Arizona in January 2014 and plans to build additional Cloud pods in Chicago, Dallas, New York/New Jersey, and Las Vegas. These locations will be connected via a powerful 10 Gig MPLS network, creating a seamless private backbone that will cater to all 50 states. NewCloud operates primarily in the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud space and their offerings include Virtual Servers, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Virtual Desktops, and Cloud Communications (which includes Hosted PBX). “We also offer managed services with all of our product offerings. This level of guaranteed support brings peace of mind to our customers,” says Kumar.
Because the IaaS market is projected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 41% for the next 3 years, topping $24 billion by 2016 (Gartner Research), Kumar says “Cloud is the next game changer. With over 25 years of business experience in the technology field, I can honestly say that Cloud technology will be instrumental in helping businesses operate more efficiently and cost effectively. I am excited that NewCloud Networks™ is on the forefront of this revolution.”
