In keeping with tradition and honoring our valued associates and their families, Blain’s Farm & Fleet stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. It’s important that our associates are allowed to spend this holiday with their family and friends.

We understand many of our competitors choose to have their associates work on Thanksgiving. As business owners, responsible for over 4,000 families who make up our company, choosing the contemporary idea of being open on Thanksgiving would actually be the easy position to take to look contemporarily competitive", comments Jane Blain Gilbertson, Executive Vice President, Blain's Farm & Fleet.
"Frankly, if we had shareholders who only focused on the latest sale, we’d probably have to do the same thing. But we are a private company, still family owned, so we try to put ourselves in the shoes of our associates and ask, 'What would we like to be doing on this special holiday?' Well that’s easy.
