Militello Capital Invests in Shark Tank Contestant, Zoobean
Leesburg, VA (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- Militello Capital welcomes Zoobean to its investment portfolio! Zoobean was featured on ABC’s hit television show, Shark Tank, last Friday (April 18th). During the episode, Zoobean secured an investment from entrepreneur and billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban.
Launched in May 2013 by husband and wife team Felix Brandon Lloyd and Jordan Lloyd Bookey, Zoobean combines the perspectives of expert curators with data science, to help parents improve their children's literacy. Serving as a sort of "Pandora for children's apps and books," Zoobean personalizes selections based on each child's age, interests and reading level. It also provides tools for parents to collaborate with teachers and family in building their children's literacy.
“We believe that Jordan and Felix have built an innovative and educational platform for children,” says Matt Brady, Co-Founder and COO of Militello Capital. He continues, “We are very excited about the addition of Zoobean to our portfolio and to be investing alongside Mark Cuban.”
