Millennial Week Returns to D.C. October 9 - 15
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 13, 2016 -- Millennial Week DC 2016 provides opportunities for the nation’s largest generation to come together, learn, network and inspire. This year, the weeklong celebration of millennials will be held October 9 – 15, 2016, at locations throughout Washington, D.C.
According to the Pew Research Center, millennials surpass Gen Xers as the largest generation in the U.S. labor force and their spending power is expected to increase as the generation enters into its prime spending years. As such, the importance and influence of millennials is on the rise as they continue to become breadwinners, leaders and rising stars of the nation’s economy.
Ranked as one of the most popular cities for millennials, the nation’s capital will host seven days of events designed to explore and celebrate millennials’ impact on business, culture and society. Inspirational millennial entrepreneurs will meet aspiring small business owners to discuss topics including running a lean start-up, building an online brand, protecting your business idea and funding your goals.
Millennials can expect one-on-one conversations, dynamic panel discussions and opportunities for real connections over the course of Millennial Week DC. Event speakers will cover and provide coaching in the following areas: entrepreneurship, civic engagement & social impact, career & professional development as well as financial freedom.
