Millinocket Regional Hospital Hires New Chief Executive Officer
Lenexa, Kan. (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, Millinocket Regional Hospital (MRH) in Millinocket, Maine, has hired Robert Peterson as chief executive officer. A seasoned healthcare executive with more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Peterson will assume his new duties at MRH on June 1, 2014.

Formerly, Peterson served as patient care administrator for surgery and women and children’s services at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. In this role, he provided leadership for the largest revenue center at Eastern Maine Medical Center as well as responsibility for the clinical operations of the surgical areas. Peterson also held numerous senior leadership roles, including vice president of operations, at Windham Hospital in Willimantic, Conn.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
