Minco to Provide Components to Lockheed Martin for Aegis Weapons System
Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 30, 2014 -- Minco Technology Labs, LLC of Austin, TX was awarded a multi-year contract to provide key electronic components to Lockheed Martin for use in the Aegis Weapons System. Manufacture and supply of the parts will begin in calendar fourth quarter of 2014 and should be completed by early 2016.

As the prime contractor for Aegis efforts, Lockheed Martin will evolve and maintain the Aegis Weapon System (AWS) and Aegis Combat System (ACS) for CG 47 class cruisers, DDG 51 class destroyers and possible future surface combatant ship classes.
