Miniclip appoints two new executives to its management team
SWITZERLAND (PRWEB UK) 5 February 2016 -- Miniclip, one of Europe’s largest mobile and online game publishers, today announced that it has appointed Sarah Rose as HR Director and Nick Tsimpidaros as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Sarah has over 20 years’ experience as a highly commercial HR leader, with broad experience as both a consultant and HR practitioner. Her most recent role was HR Lead for UK HR Managers at Microsoft, and her career has included senior roles with Standard Chartered Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and, earlier in her career, with Rolls-Royce Plc, Rolfe & Nolan Plc, and the BBC.
“I am delighted to be joining Miniclip at such an exciting time,” said Sarah. “The opportunity to work with Rob and the Executive team to develop and grow Miniclip in pursuit of further success was too good to miss!”
Nick previously led the central marketing function at global gaming powerhouse, Amaya, where he was responsible for PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and their Casino and Sportsbook products. Prior to that, he was Marketing Director at BeatThatQuote.com which was acquired by Google in 2011.
“Miniclip has been a company I’ve known and watched closely throughout my career. Their product excellence combined with their talented and highly regarded management team were key factors in my decision,” said Nick. “It is an exciting time to join Miniclip and be part of its future.”
Both executives will report to the CEO and co-founder, Rob Small. “The last 12 months have been an incredibly exciting time for Miniclip,” said Rob. “Last February we announced that Tencent, the world’s largest games company, had acquired a majority stake in the business. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and we are thrilled to welcome such seasoned executives into our leadership team.”
