Minneapolis Singles Plays Host to Singles Event with Feed My Starving Children

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) March 16, 2015 -- On Saturday, March 7th, the staff and members of Minneapolis Singles spent their afternoon at Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit Christian organization that provides nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children and adults in nearly 70 countries.

Minneapolis Singles is a local dating service for single professionals in the Twin City area. The matchmaking service offers unique services for their upscale membership including the assurance of credible profiles, a background screening process, professional one-on-one service, and singles events that gives their members the opportunity to be involved in their community.

“I really enjoyed volunteering for Feed my Starving Children, it was fun, and at the same time we are feeding hungry children across the world and making a difference in their lives. A couple hours were such a small price compared to the impact that we can really make in the world. This experience really inspired me to volunteer more of my time in the future and to find ways to make a difference.” said Jill Procai, Minneapolis Singles Membership Services Manager.

Feed My Starving Children is 100 percent donor funded allowing all donations to go a long way. They offer 3 types of fortified meal formulas to address the hunger needs of those that they support. The staff and members spent their afternoon hand-packing over 10,00 meals to send to Guatemala.
