Minnesota Safety Council Joins Crutchfield Dermatology Foundation to Educate Community on Dangers of Distracted Driving
Eagan, Minnesota (PRWEB) October 13, 2017 -- Matt Logan, dad who lost his daughter to distracted driving, to share his testimonial at upcoming free family event.
The Minnesota Safety Council will join Crutchfield Dermatology Foundation on Saturday, October 14 to educate the community on the dangers of distracted driving. Studies show that distraction due to cell phone use is more prevalent than is reflected in official government statistics. Crutchfield Dermatology and its partners want to drive behavior change, stop bad habits and encourage safe driving.

WHAT:
A free seminar for the entire family to help raise awareness on the dangers of distracted driving, with special guest speakers Lisa Kons and Matt Logan.
WHY:
Distracted driving is a danger that continues to grow in Minnesota. According to the most recent Minnesota Distracted Driving Survey done by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, almost 30 percent of Minnesota drivers were found to be distracted behind the wheel. Matt Logan's 17-year-old daughter, Deej, died four years ago after colliding into the back of a school bus while texting and driving.
