Sole Strivers Financial Fitness, LLC, NYC, Dionisia “Diony” Cespedes, founder: Financial coach and business strategist. Dena Coye Outstanding Woman Entrepreneurship Award, named in the memory of NMBC’s first associate (deceased).
Vera Moore Cosmetics, Plainview, NY, Vera Moore, founder: Pioneer in developing & retailing high-end cosmetics & grooming products for women & men of color, Outstanding Global Business Award.
Women Presidents’ Organization, NYC, Marsha Firestone, PhD, founder and president: Non-profit membership organization for women presidents of multimillion-dollar companies, devoted to accelerating the growth of their members’ businesses. Charles T. Haffey Community Service Award, named in honor of a former vice president of corporate purchasing for Pfizer Inc., early supporter and Executive Volunteer with NMBC.
