Mint Springs Dentistry Reaches Out To The Local Community For Support For Storm Devastated Puerto Rico
Mason City, Iowa (PRWEB) October 04, 2017 -- The island of Puerto Rico has been devastated by two hurricanes in the last month. Hurricane Maria dealt the final blow to this island with what many are calling the worst destruction in a century.
Rebuilding Puerto Rico's infrastructure will take years, but the immediate need for water, food and basic day to day necessities is the most urgent.
Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt of Mint Springs Dentistry will be spearheading a local drive in and around the Mason City area to collect funds. The United for Puerto Rico website is available for direct donations. Community members are also encouraged to drop off donations at Mint Springs Dentistry where they will be forwarded directly to United for Puerto Rico or make they can make contributions at First Citizens Bank under Mint Springs Dentistry for Puerto Rico.
United for Puerto Rico is an initiative brought forth by the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, in collaboration with the private sector, with the purpose of providing aid and support to those affected in Puerto Rico by the passage of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane María. 100% of the proceeds will go to helping the victims affected by these natural disasters in Puerto Rico.
