Mitsubishi Chemical America Launches September Fundraising Campaign to Help Those Impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma
New York, New York (PRWEB) September 14, 2017 -- In support of those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. In addition, Mitsubishi Chemical America (MCA) is launching a September Fundraising Campaign, giving affiliates and employees an opportunity to donate and truly impact change.
“These hurricanes have been and continue to be two of the worst natural disasters our country has faced,” said Dennis Trice, CEO of MCA. “As a longtime partner agency of the United Way, the American Red Cross has demonstrated that they are well positioned to help with this type of disaster.”
To support all the people in the affected areas as well as their communities, each employee of MCA and its affiliate is encouraged to participate in this critical campaign, either with monetary or supply donations, with the goal to provide substantial assistance to select charity relief organizations. Those organizations are already in the best position to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of all residents impacted by the hurricanes. This campaign will run through the month of September.
