MobiFone, Vietnam’s Largest Mobile Operator, Selects Critical Path for Mobile Email Services
San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) November 14, 2013 -- Critical Path, Inc. (CP) a global leader in Messaging, Security, and Unified Communications, formally announced today a new agreement with Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company (VMS). VMS is a state-owned company under Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, and is the largest mobile telecommunications provider in Vietnam under the MobiFone brand.
The agreement calls for CP to provide push email service (called EasyMail, through CP Mobile) to MobiFone’s over 40 million subscribers. It is a mature solution, with a succesful deployment track-record and millions of users worldwide.
CP Mobile is able to push email to any device, including feature-phones that are still widely in-use in Vietnam and other Indochina countries. The agreement with VMS was signed in conjunction with DTS, Vietnam’s leading independent systems integrator, and a CP partner in the region.
With the current success in the Vietnamese market, CP intends to introduce CP Mobile solutions into countries like Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar, further consolidating CP’s leadership position in Messaging solutions in the region. CP, with offices and operations in Sydney, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Singapore, operates in the region directly and through global and local partners and system integrators.
