Mobile Generated News® (MoGN) Releases Version 2.0 iOS 7 App Upgrade with CJ Alerts Feature that Seamlessly Integrates News Organizations with Citizen Journalists

This new version 2.0 iOS 7 App upgrade includes the New “CJ Alert” feature that signals all user Citizen Journalists (CJ’s) that News is happening in their local area. The notifications are initiated by local Media Affiliates and they can also select specifically who they want to receive the alert. CJ Alert enables news organizations to communicate directly with users via email furthering their connection with the local community. Another new Feature that is planned for the next release is called “MoGN Connect”. This new feature syncs MoGN clients’ Social Media and local Websites with the App, driving more traffic to their sites.
The new App design embraces Apple’s iOS 7 system with updated graphics to match the color pallet of MoGN clients’ brand. This 2.0 release also signifies the commitment to domestic Television Stations, Station Groups, Networks, Newspapers, Web Sites and in English and Spanish language with French coming soon.
