Mobile Industry Veterans Adam Flanders and Kevin Flynn Announce New Endeavor, Mobile Game Partners
Los Angeles, CA & Seattle, WA (PRWEB) February 17, 2015 -- After a successful beta testing period, Mobile Game Partners (MGP) has officially launched to offer marketing, business development and publishing services to developers looking to launch their mobile games on today’s most popular platforms. Mobile industry veterans Adam Flanders (Glu Mobile, THQ Wireless, and Z2) and Kevin Flynn (Kabam and Z2) founded the company to provide an alternative to the traditional mobile game publishing model, enabling developers who don’t necessarily want or need full publishing for their mobile game to still tap into customized publishing services at a much lower cost.
Already working alongside developers like Ember Entertainment, Pixelberry Studios, Zhurosoft, and Uken Studios on launching several mobile games, MGP’s services have contributed toward successfully driving millions of users.
“There are so many incredible mobile games out there in development right now that with the right launch strategy and marketing, have an opportunity to be successful. That is what inspired us to start MGP. The best part: we get to share our industry knowledge and relationships with developers so that they can focus on making a great game and not on giant revenue splits and overhead costs,” said Kevin Flynn, co-founder of MGP.
MGP works with developers as their marketing and business development arm, providing representation to all of the major platforms including Apple, Google and Amazon. In addition, MGP consults with developers during the critical game launch preparation phase, providing keen insights on key areas such as game & new user flow, user acquisition, and App Store optimization. The company is also experienced in helping developers create expanded revenue streams through global launches, especially in lucrative mobile markets such as Asia. By working with MGP versus a traditional publisher, the developer maintains control of the IP and all aspects of payments and analytics. In addition, MGP operates under a success-based model – only receiving payment when they meet the goals of the developer.
“In our experience working with developers of various sizes, we noticed that many just didn’t fit into the traditional publishing model, but at the same time, still wanted help in certain areas or didn’t want to launch a game by themselves,” MGP co-founder Adam Flanders added. “We saw an opportunity to provide developers with an option that wasn’t readily available and look forward to helping launch even more successful games.”
Prior to co-founding MGP, Flanders served as SVP Business Development & Marketing at Z2Live, developer of mobile hits such as Battle Nations and Metalstorm. He also spent more than six years running sales and marketing for Glu Mobile, where he launched more than 100 games, including such hits as Deer Hunter, Gun Bros., and Contract Killer. Prior to Glu Mobile, Flanders spent six years helping to build THQ Wireless and launching several high profile mobile game firsts for Star Wars, the NFL, the NBA, MLB, WWE and more.
Flynn has held several high profile mobile publishing positions at such top publishers, including Z2Live. While at Kabam, he helped spearhead the mobile publishing Group which generated such hits as Kingdoms of Camelot and Dragons of Atlantis. Before entering the mobile game industry, Flynn created one of the most famous Internet animations of all time, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, which he utilized to launch and successfully sell a video sharing site in 2007.
