Mobile Shredding Association Files for Nonprofit Status
Brunswick, Georgia (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- In its ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of secure shredding, the Mobile Shredding Association is converting to a nonprofit association.
Formed in 2013, the Mobile Shredding Association, headquartered in Brunswick, GA provides support for the mobile shredding industry, including a unique certification program for the shred truck drivers and operators.
“We saw a need to support Mobile Shredding operators in the market place,” says MSA founder and CEO Trace Hartridge “The support and growth we have seen from operators and vendors has far exceeded our expectations, prompting us to move to the planned nonprofit phase much earlier than anticipated.”
Hartridge continues “We currently have 44 members covering 24 states and two countries, with calls coming in every day. Our members continue to tell us that MSA is filling a void and catering to an industry segment that many in the industry have felt has been neglected”
The Mobile Shredding Association provides support for mobile shredding companies, including a meaningful certification program that certifies the actual drivers and operators of onsite shredding trucks, allowing customers real time auditing of certification status.
The move to nonprofit status will allow members of the industry to have increased participation in the growth of the association.
