His accomplishments in his profession are incredible but are dwarfed by the terrific man that he was to all who knew him. He had so many in his life that loved him, including his wonderful family, and of course, all of us at TransitWorks and MobilityWorks. Taylor joined MobilityWorks in 1999 as President of its newly formed Commercial Division, and as a principal owner with MobilityWorks’ Founder, Bill Koeblitz. Under Taylor’s leadership, the company grew and expanded its commercial operations including the 2004 opening of its flagship manufacturing plant in Akron, Ohio. The company continued to grow under Taylor’s strategic leadership through various acquisitions including Accubuilt Mobility in 2010. In 2014, a MobilityWorks divisional restructuring led to the formation of TransitWorks, a Commercial manufacturer with a national dealer network covering hundreds of locations in all 50 states. Throughout Taylor’s career the company has been honored with numerous awards from the Inc 500, Ernst & Young, Weatherhead 100, and Ford Motor Company.
