MOCAP Analytics Works with Zebra Technologies to Grow Business Opportunities Associated with Player-Tracking and Advanced Statistics in the Sport of American Football
PALO ALTO, CA (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- MOCAP Analytics, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Zebra Technologies Corporation to grow business opportunities associated with location-tracking and data analytics in the professional and amateur sport of American football.
The National Football League (NFL) installed Zebra’s real-time location system (RTLS) for sports in 17 stadiums during the 2014 NFL season and expanded to cover all NFL stadiums for the 2015 NFL season as part of its Next-Generation Statistics initiative. The NFL kicked off its 2015 season with Zebra’s nickel-sized RFID sensors embedded in the shoulder pads of every NFL player.
