Modbook Inc. Offers New Modbook Pro Financing Options
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- Creative technologies developer Modbook Inc. today introduced the "Lease & Own for $1" program, which enables customers to lease the Modbook Pro — the company’s portable and powerful Mac® OS X®-based tablet — for a monthly payment as low as $125 with the option to purchase it when the lease expires for just $1 more.
Under the "Lease & Own for $1" program, U.S. customers can select one of three convenient lease terms: 12 months, 24 months or 36 months. The lease finances the entire cost of the Modbook Pro, including any accessories, additional software, shipping and taxes (where applicable). Every lease includes a $1 purchase of the Modbook Pro at the end of the lease term. The program offers competitive rates and quick credit responses.
The "Lease & Own for $1" program is perfect for freelance creative users who act as independent contractors and need the Modbook Pro as a productive tool in their work. These self-employed users and small business owners can take full advantage of the program’s benefits: fair and reasonable credit decisions, low monthly payments and favorable tax treatment. As with other leased equipment, Modbook Pro lease payments can be deducted as a business expense on tax returns, reducing the net cost of the lease.
Sole proprietors, not-for-profit organizations, educational entities, and small, medium and large businesses are also eligible for the program. By electing a leasing option, customers can spread their purchase over a longer period of time and thus conserve working capital and existing credit lines, while also deducting the cost of the lease for tax purposes.
To provide the "Lease & Own for $1" program, Modbook Inc. is partnering with North Star Leasing Company. North Star Leasing has almost 35 years of experience in funding equipment leases, including for one of the largest Mac resellers in the U.S. In addition, North Star offers quick response times and exceptional customer service.
"’Lease & Own for $1’ gives freelancers and small businesses a convenient financing option for obtaining the Modbook Pro," said Andreas E. Haas, CEO of Modbook Inc. "We’re excited that customers who want to use their Modbook Pro in their professional work will now be able to take advantage of our new leasing program."
The world’s only Mac-based tablet, the Modbook Pro* seamlessly transforms an Apple® MacBook® Pro computer into a Wacom® Penabled® tablet running OS X Mountain Lion, making it the most powerful mobile tablet workstation for creative users, medical professionals, students, teachers and general users.
