Burgaw, NC (PRWEB) February 18, 2016 -- Mojotone™ has announced the release of an all new line of amplifiers. This new line consists of three amplifiers: MT Pilot (20 Watts), Deacon (50 Watts) and Hatteras (100 Watts). Sporting a unique look, these timeless amplifiers are not based upon any other known amp circuit and are designed to cater to the needs of all types of guitar players and performance settings. Mojotone’s™ CEO, Michael McWhorter, explains, “…we had been sourcing and selling vintage reproduction amplifier kits for years. On top of that, we had also been providing contract manufacturing services for a number of amp builders. These experiences have afforded us a wealth of knowledge on the subject and also inspired us to finally dive into building and selling our own line of amps.”
Each amplifier offers its own set of user-friendly features to help guitarists manage their sound in live performance settings as well as in the studio. The MT Pilot is a 6V6 amp that allows the user to easily switch power tubes to 6L6s, without rebiasing, and boost the amp up from 20 watts to 30 watts. The Deacon utilizes two KT66 power tubes and offers a ton of headroom for a 50 watt amp. Deacon also has an effects loop with a return volume control, offering a bit of added versatility. The Hatteras is equipped with all the bells and whistles of both the MT Pilot and the Deacon without sacrificing any of their brilliant tonal qualities. The 100 watt Hatteras comes with a 3-position bright switch, effects loop with return volume control, universal boost and a variety of other controls that allow the user to perfectly shape their sound.
All three models have the seal of approval from guitar players of every genre and all three are considered excellent pedal platforms. The MT Pilot and Deacon are both available as a head and extension cabinet configuration as well as a combo. The Hatteras is offered as a head unit only with the option of either a 2x12 or 4x12 extension cabinet.
