Momeni to Showcase Newest Collections at High Point Market

Dakota, Momeni’s newest line of low pile, indoor/outdoor rugs, is one of the most distinct offerings. The line is machine made of 100% polypropylene, created with designs that draw heavily from tribal motifs, traditional Americana and simple line geometrics. “We’ve seen an uptick in the utilization of these designs in streamline interior décor, so incorporating them into our indoor/outdoor collection was a natural next step,” stated Reza Momeni, president of Momeni, Inc.
Also included in the spring release is Havana’s new, large scale florals in shades of jewel toned red, spring greens and serenity blue. These hand hooked, 100% polyester rugs draw their inspiration from the trend “bringing the outdoors in” and the consumer demand for moderately priced products.
Several new designs for Momeni’s Lil’ Mo Whimsy collection will also be featured. Designed by Katy Momeni Repetto, design director for Momeni, the newest styles feature the fantastical spirit the line is known for in themes of Moby Dick, fairy tale dragons, castles and butterfly gardens. Repetto shared, "Families want to evoke a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality in their homes, especially for their children. We are starting to see a really fun style direction happening in the kids market, focusing on a more narrative style that tells a story in a children’s space, and Lil' Mo's newest designs do exactly that."
The new-to-market Amelia collection will also be presented. This exceptionally silky and lustrous collection achieves its feel from 100% heat set polypropylene line. The designs focus upon traditional, central medallions surrounded by classic Persian florals, in neutrals and blues, making it especially easy to incorporate in a large array of settings.
Finally, the Monterey collection will be displayed and is anticipated to become one of Momeni’s best sellers. Monterey achieves it superior, silky finish through its construction of machine made, heat-set polypropylene and microfiber polyester accents. The line concentrates heavily upon delft blue and jewel toned red contrasted with metallics of silver and sand, elements consumers and designers alike have noted as significant to 2016 design trends.
