Mona Foundation Names New Executive Director
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- Mona Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports grassroots educational initiatives with a focus on girls and women around the world, is excited to announce LeAnne Moss as its new Executive Director.
Moss has more than 20 years of experience working for social change through the non-profit sector. She has served as the Executive Director for the Women’s Funding Alliance (WFA) for nearly 15 years, and she founded Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) in Michigan. Recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as a Woman of Influence, she is a leader in the philanthropic and non-profit community.
Her non-profit organization development and fundraising expertise, combined with her unique ability to build relationships and coalitions, bridge diverse communities, and raise awareness allows her to guide organizations in achieving dramatic results.
As Executive Director of Mona Foundation, Moss will be responsible for supporting strategic growth. This growth will allow Mona Foundation to continue to expand and be an even greater force for social transformation through its support of grassroots educational projects around the world.
Moss believes that; “Development is not just about resource-poor countries becoming more materially developed. It’s about all of us developing and learning – striving to understand how to create a world devoid of poverty and war.
