Monkimun Partners with Digicrafts to Expand Its Lingokids English Courses in South East Asia with Thailand’s DTAC
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 15, 2016 -- Monkimun through its core product Lingokids, with more than 300 thousand monthly active children, continues to expand its user base in South East Asia as part of its strategic focus on developing economies. The agreement will help Lingokids to continue to grow amongst the predominantly pre-paid user base in the region thanks to the carrier billing integration that Digicrafts has devised with DTAC.
The agreement comes at a very interesting moment for Monkimun, as they have just launched a new version of their star platform, Lingokids 3.0, with which they are spearheading the next generation of early language learning methods. “The latest version of the platform brings much more than just our popular English games for kids, the new platform now provides a truly immersive 360º approach to early English learning, which has always been one of our key objectives at Monkimun,” according to CEO Cristobal Viedma.
Lingokids 3.0 steps up its game by incorporating videos, songs and offline activities as reinforcement to the core lessons offered in the Lingokids original games. Enrique Criado Cámara, Director of Business Development at Lingokids, adds: “there are many platforms that have incorporated videos and songs to traditional teaching methods, that is nothing new, what makes Lingokids unique is that we provide a truly structured approach, with only the best quality content, establishing an emotional connection with the child and all of it at a fraction of the cost of what traditional English academies are charging.” On the new platform, the child is guided through the curriculum with the help of a “personal teacher” called Emma (for the girls) or Wesley (for the boys), that helps the child not only to absorb the learning through real-life imagery but also by presenting the child with the right content at the precise time.
With this human touch Monkimun hopes to increase engagement and maximize the learning through a more profound educational journey. “Although we have already launched a deep-learning initiative to study child behavior on our platform, our medium-term goal is to make deep-learning one of our strategic pillars to aid with the optimization of the child’s experience and learning,” adds CEO Viedma.
