More South Florida Homeowners Invested in Repairs, Upgrades in 2013 To Swimming Pool Screen Enclosures and Screened Patio Covers, Venetian Builders Finds

Older screen rooms may need bolstering against storms because they weren’t built to today’s standards, Noe said.
“We can add “K” braces or cables to improve wind resistance, plus bigger gussets, stronger anchors and stainless steel fasteners – all the things we use in high-wind areas to make new screen rooms more resistant to hurricane-strength winds,” Noe said.
