Morgan & Morgan to Hold Press Conference to Address Latest Developments in the Case of Rebecca Sedwick
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Morgan & Morgan will hold a press conference on Monday, November 25, to address recent developments in the case of Rebecca Sedwick who, authorities say, committed suicide following relentless bullying from classmates. The press conference will be held at 10 a.m. EST at the firm’s Orlando office located at 20 N. Orange Ave.
At the conference, attorney Matt Morgan and Sedwick’s mother, Tricia Norman, will react to the news, as detailed by a Nov. 20 ABC news article*, that charges have been dropped against both girls accused of stalking Sedwick. They will also make a formal announcement about a recent development in the firm’s investigation into Sedwick’s death.
In October, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced that two girls, ages 12 and 14, were arrested and charged with felony aggravated stalking in connection with Sedwick’s death, an Oct. 15 ABC News article** reported.
Shortly after her daughter’s death, Norman reached out to Morgan & Morgan and retained the assistance of Winter Haven attorney David Henry. Attorney Matt Morgan and former Florida Governor Charlie Crist will be assisting Henry as he helps Norman address and respond to the tragedy.
