The winners will be honored at the AWE’s Annual Awards Luncheon and panel discussion on May 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Approximately 400 business executives from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., will be in attendance to learn about signature practices in “Equality and Empowerment in a Diverse Workforce.” Maureen Gormley, Chief Operating Officer at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center, will deliver the keynote address, and award-winning journalist Leon Harris from ABC7/WJLA-TV will serve as emcee.
