MorseLife Health System Launches Enhanced Model of Care for Residents At Risk Of Nursing Home Placement
West Palm Beach, Florida (PRWEB) June 09, 2017 -- In its ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of seniors, MorseLife Health System has launched an innovative, enhanced model of care to enable assisted living residents to remain in their homes in the face of physical and mental decline. Known as “Signature Care for Assisted Living,” the services will be available to existing and new residents of MorseLife’s The Tradition of the Palm Beaches who require nursing services and total assistance with personal care so they can “age in place” at home, rather than coping with a disruptive move to a nursing home.
MorseLife joins an elite group of senior care organizations in Florida that holds a specialty Extended Congregate Care (ECC) licensure to offer this more comprehensive level of care in its assisted living residence. MorseLife obtained the licensure in response to a growing need for services that empower seniors to “age in place” rather than being institutionalized.

Standard assisted living provides residents with help with activities of daily living such as in bathing and grooming, but MorseLife’s customized ECC services extend to services as ordered by physicians, including, but not limited to diabetes management, administering of medications, ostomy care, fracture care, catheter management and other clinical services.
