Kansas City, Missouri (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- Mosaic Life Care at Shoal Creek will host Holiday Happiness – a two-day event that lets children celebrate the season in a fun and engaging atmosphere, allowing them to make a mess that parents won’t have to clean up.
The first event will take place from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, December 11. A high school band performance will begin the event at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m. the play “The 12 Days of Schtickmas” will begin and follow with a photo opportunity with the cast members. The evening will also include horse sleigh rides for $2 a person, Christmas cookie decorating, a hot chocolate station, letters to Santa and holiday themed games. In concurrence with the event, children’s books will be collected for donation to Operation Breakthrough.
The second event will take place from 1 – 4 p.m., Sunday, December 13. This event will feature the puppet show “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” ornament making with the puppet show cast, ginger bread cookie station, hot chocolate station and holiday themed games. Along with the event, new gloves and socks of all sizes will be collected for donation to the Rose Brooks Shelter.
Both events are free and open to the public and will be in the Life Center at Mosaic Life Care at Shoal Creek.
