Yardley, PA (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- For decades, Medical Technology (Med-Tech) companies have embarked in Process Improvement initiatives to enhance product quality while reducing costs.

So why are most companies chasing defects instead of improving processes?

Answers to this complex question are provided in a new research study released today by Axendia, Inc. For this major research Axendia surveyed 239 Medical Technology Industry practitioners from 96 different companies across 22 countries.

While Process Improvement is described as an “imperative to survival,” the majority of Med-Tech companies surveyed are still “chasing defects.”

Axendia surveyed 239 Medical Technology Industry practitioners from 96 different companies across 22 countries. Percentages reported are based on those that responded to each individual question in the online survey. The research was also guided by insight from Industry Executives.
