Mouse Gesture Control Controversy; InceptionX Official Response
West Soho, NY (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- The InceptionX Controversy:
Last week, Bounce Exchange unveiled its latest product InceptionX, which has fueled a debate whether it's ethical to take control of a shopper's mouse and automagically press the "add-to-cart" button.
The Buyer Has A Choice:
Even though InceptionX is moving a buyer's mouse to the add-to-cart button and pressing it, they still have a choice to complete checkout on their own. The shopper ultimately has to choose to finish the checkout process.
Qualified by "Digital Buying Signals":
The technology only induces shoppers to add-to-cart that show "digital buying signals". These buying signals are signs like looking through all the product images, or scanning through most of the reviews. This has resulted in a 161% increase in add-to-cart rate, and nearly 31% of those people wind up completing the purchase on their own.
20 Slot Limited Release:
Even though focus group feedback from shoppers has been great, Bounce Exchange is limiting the beta release to only 20 companies. Since a lot more user data is needed from enterprise websites, there will be no cost to the 20 companies that are accepted for the pilot.
