Moving Company Wraps Truck to Raise Awareness About Hunger
Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- The hunger relief nonprofit, Move For Hunger, has announced that they will be teaming up with A-1 Moving & Storage, an agent for Atlas Van Lines, to give their trucks a charitable voice. On May 1, A-1 Moving & Storage wrapped a 16-foot straight truck to encourage the community to donate their food when they move. As a proud partner of Move For Hunger, A-1 Moving & Storage offers to pick up any unopened, non-perishable food items from its customers year round to distribute to local food banks in need. To date, they have delivered over 1,000 lbs of food to local food banks - providing over 800 meals to individuals in need.
There are over 200,000 people in the Palm Beach area struggling with hunger. 30% in need are children. “This new truck symbolizes the importance of this growing issue and serves as a simple call to action to those who’d like to make their moving experience more socially responsible,” says Adam Lowy, Executive Director of Move For Hunger.
