Mowers Direct Lists Final 8 in Mower Madness Tournament
(PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- At MowersDirect.com, Round 3 of Mower Madness has come to an end. The initial tournament field of 64 lawn mower brands has been narrowed to 8 brands ready to battle it out for a chance at the semifinals.
No. 3 Ferris advanced to Round 4 in the final minutes with a 51-49 win over No. 2 Honda.
While No. 8 Dixie Chopper led No. 5 Troy-Bilt for the better part of Round 3, Troy-Bilt pulled off the upset with a 51-49 buzzer-beater to take the win.
"It's surprising to see all of the No. 1 seeds, including John Deere, out of the tournament by Round 4," said Jose Castellanos, lawn mower expert at Mowers Direct. "The underdogs sure came to play."
ROUND 4 MATCHUPS
The fourth round of Mower Madness tipped off and will continue for four days, ending at 11:00am on April 4th.
The remaining 8 lawn mower brands are separated into four divisions.
