MRINetwork Expands to Canada with New Office

The company-owned office will initially focus on the finance and accounting industries. MRINetwork plans to grow its presence in the Canadian executive search and recruitment market, with expansion into the consumer goods, energy, technology and pharmaceutical markets to follow. Mark Cosens, a 30-year veteran in Canadian business development and recruitment, has been appointed as general manager.

Cosens, whose background includes serving as managing director for Korn Ferry International in Toronto, and leadership roles in investment banking and business strategy consulting, sees the expansion as a natural move for MRINetwork. “As key sectors of the Canadian job market continue to grow, we anticipate availability of skilled candidates will become more competitive, and clients will need our help in sourcing and selecting critical talent to grow their businesses,” he notes. “In addition to serving Canadian businesses, we will help our international clients navigate cultural differences and variations in recruitment practices,” says Cosens.
