As the new COO of MrktServ, Richard will be in charge of expanding the structure of the operational business with the momentum required by business development according to the commitments of financial growth.
“Richard is known for his ability to grow a business efficiently. He has been in senior management positions, he has reported to CEO’s, presidents, and investors,” says Ken LeBlanc, CEO of MrktServ Holdings. “He understands the operational complexities and the structure required to be successful, and is highly capable to handle the development of departments within an expanding business.”
Sawyer’s extensive experience within the automotive industry includes over 33 years of field and home office experience combined. He spent over 38 years at a Fortune 500 company and in 2003 he became the divisional merchandise manager of its hardware division, where he was then promoted to vice president-general merchandise manager of its automotive division. Sawyer grew in this position for about six years before retiring and then branched out to become the CEO of an automotive tools and supply company for three years.
Through these various positions, Sawyer gained familiarity with financial assets and in working with buyers, sales, inventory, warehouse, profit and loss, and research and development departments. He also collaborated on marketing efforts such as brand strategy, promotions and ad placements. During this time, he developed a talent for determining and communicating the strategic direction of a company.
Remaining in the automotive industry as the COO of MrktServ, Sawyer says he will be able to “continue to develop a profitable, sound sales and operational business with an inspirational work force focused on growing the business, bringing innovation, strong work and business ethics, and timely execution on all development projects.”
