Music Lodge Marks Its 11th Year Held During Sundance Film Festival
Park City, Utah (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- On January 24 – 26th, The Music Lodge event of Music & Media on Main St. will earn its venue legacy status by having held its 3-day event for 11 years in a row during the Sundance Film Festival. The venue at 780 Main St Courtyard is open daily from 10 am – 6 pm and features a media wing for star interviews, VIP and talent gifting, and an intimate stage setting, which through the years has inspired impromptu jamming with celebrity guests and well known musicians. In the evenings, private parties enjoy gathering around the lodge’s roaring fireplace or the courtyard fire pit in the gently falling snow.
This year we’re proud that MTV has chosen the Music Lodge to host their festival celebrity interview TV studio. ABC TV Utah will also be making the Music Lodge home base as they feature the event in their behind-the-festival segments. Stage artists range from 2x Grammy winner, EDC’s main stage DJ, Time Magazine’s Most Influential Teen List and apropo to the Rocky Mtn setting, a Big Foot band whose furry faces hide the identity of iconic rockers.
Keratin Complex’s pop-up hair salon will glam up their MTV interviewees. A touch up station will also be offered to make sure everyone looks their best. Roland Keyboards is back for their 5th year on stage as the Music Lodge’s primary music partner and Members Only is rebooting their legendary brand for the new millennial generation with their iconic black jackets as well as $500 leather biker jackets. Though time often stands still during festival revelry, WeWood Watches will help VIPs stay on schedule. Naturade will be sampling their first to the market Vegan Smart Protein Shake and Wonderful Pistachios will also be sampling their flavors. Beverly Hills' newest java trend – Bulletproof® Coffee – will be serving up not only coffee but a morning oxygen bar as well.
Stage performances include an exclusive performance by 2x Grammy winner, Pras Michel of The Fugees, Few DJ’s rocking marquee stages on a regular basis at Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella as DJ Trent Cantrelle, who will premiere a few of his new songs. Tess Henley will be on our stage just days after opening at NAMM and her performance on Jimmy Kimmel, Four chair turns resulted in Usher winning singer, pianist Ryan Innes for his team on The Voice. Rockabilly band Jamestown Revival was selected by iTunes as the best Singer/Songwriter album of 2015 named “Utah.” PPL MVR is a mightily talented group of Big Foot characters who are actually well-known musicians going incognito . . . and millennial media darling, Rachel Fox of Desperate Housewives performs with her rock band after making Time Magazine’s List of “Most Influential Teens of 2014.”
While the Music Lodge is an exclusive “Invite Only” event, The Main St Courtyard will host gratis coffee Sat, Sun, Mon 10- 2:30 and a wifi hotspot for all festival guests.
