Musical Lessons and Ensemble Resume for Back-to-School Season
Saint Paul, MN (PRWEB) September 04, 2015 -- This month marks the time for students to return to school and all of their extracurricular activities, including private music lessons and the ensemble at The Saint Paul Conservatory of Music.
Music lessons resume Tuesday, Sept. 8 and the ensemble starts back up again Monday, Sept. 21.
According to DoSomething.org — one of the largest global organizations targeted toward young people and social change — children who study music also usually have an expanded vocabulary and more advanced reading skills compared to others who do not participate in music lessons and ensembles. Also, children who study a musical instrument are more likely to excel in their academics, have better teamwork skills, enhanced critical thinking skills, and go on to collegiate studies.
To sign a child up for private music lessons or enroll in the ensemble, visit our individual instruction webpage — http://www.thespcm.org/classes/individual-instruction/ — or call 651-224-2205 for more information.
