My Positive Perspective Broadcasts Episode with Secrets to Being Happy Coach Jodi Riley on the Messages and Influences of Motivational Speaking
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- On July 29, 2013 My Positive Perspective aired an episode that focused on motivational speaking and how that skill can be used to bring happiness and positivity into people’s lives. The episode was hosted by Jason Deierlein who enjoys speaking to students at school symposiums. For the episode, Deierlein was joined by Secrets to being Happy Coach Jodi Riley. Riley has been speaking to different groups of people and says that the message she tries to convey depends primarily on the age of her audience. When Deierlein asked Riley what message she tries to convey to her audience, she said, “The general happiness speech ranges from people aged 20-70. However, if it’s a relationship speech those usually involve people at least age 35.”
When Deierlein asked Riley if there was any particular moment in her speaking career that stood out to her, Riley said, “When I was speaking at a speak out event and mentioned a Wayne Dyer quote saying you need to divorce yourself with the good and bad opinion of other people.” Deierlein recalls being at this event and recalls that moment. Riley said, “That drew a breath from people as if to say that it never occurred to people that they should not weigh too much on the opinions of other people.”
The episode was concluded when Riley said, “We as speakers try to learn from our audience as well.” Deierlein agreed saying, “Everything I do is to try and keep people positive and I know I have more to learn in that aspect.”
My Positive Perspective is a media outlet believing that improvement in our community will be best achieved by focusing on the good things happening in our world today. Having survived a near fatal car accident as a youth, a shift of perception forced one to have a mentality of always concentrating on the brighter sides of things. This was true, and in my book, Return From a Comatose Mind, this belief was put to the test. Appreciation for life was the biggest thing one took away from my brush with death, and it is because of that gives me such a huge desire to be helpful to many. My Positive Perspective is a way of overcoming challenges.
