My Positive Perspective Introduces Motivate Charleston with Caleb Pearson
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) February 17, 2015 -- On February 17, 2015, My Positive Perspective host Jason Deierlein was joined by Caleb Pearson for an episode. The episode’s topic was the facebook page Pearson started called Motivate Charleston which features quotes and expressions intended to inspire residents of the city of Charleston. At the beginning of the episode, Deierlein asks Pearson, “What gave you the idea to start a group designed to help the people in Charleston?” Pearson replies, “Basically I saw all the posts on facebook that were either upbeat or depressing to the extreme. I thought the upbeat and inspiring ones were good and the depressing ones were terrible, so I decided to start a page that only contained positive, upbeat posts.”
Deierlein then says, “Makes perfect sense to me, what have you learned since stating this facebook page?” Pearson replies, “Basically, I’ve come to appreciate how I begin my day. I always want to start my day with a positive, upbeat thought and it has helped me every day become more positive of a person.” Pearson continues, “People have responded positively saying how it helps them face their day with a positive mind frame and that makes me feel good.”
Deierlein then asks Pearson, “How can people provide some quotes or thoughts that they would like to see on the Motivate Charleston facebook page?” Pearson replies, “All you have to do is log on to facebook and search Motivate Charleston and the page will pop right up. If you would like to submit a piece for the page, just enter it under the message tab and I will certainly check it out and be in contact with you.”
My Positive Perspective is a media outlet believing that improvement in our community will be best achieved by focusing on the good things happening in our world today. Having survived a near fatal car accident as a youth, a shift of perception forced one to have a mentality of always concentrating on the brighter sides of things. This was true, and in my book, Return From a Comatose Mind, this belief was put to the test. Appreciation for life was the biggest thing one took away from my brush with death, and it is because of that gives me such a huge desire to be helpful to many. My Positive Perspective is a way of overcoming challenges through positive thinking.
