My Tech Gurus Is Developing a Windows XP Shell for Windows 8
Greenwich, CT (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Even as Microsoft promotes Windows 8, its latest operating system, Windows XP is still the second-most used OS on nonmobile computers, according to Net Applications web analytics. Debuting in 2001, XP lasted through three new Microsoft operating systems and the growth of mobile technology. (1)
But even more shocking is that there doesn't seem to be any movement from XP users to migrate to Windows 8 in fact so much so that over the past 7 years they willingly paid more money to buy the Windows XP computers. This could all change in March when Microsoft stops supporting Windows XP operating system.
My Tech Gurus, however, is developing a skin program that converts the Windows 8 desktop to look and feel like Windows XP. My Tech Gurus expects to see a large number of installs of the skin program this year as some XP users make the switch to Windows8. My Tech Gurus will even install it for you if you are current customer and they will also buy your old XP machine from you and move all your data and applications to a new Windows 8 computer (with the new desktop skin of course).
