MyFairyTaleBooks Named 2013 PACER Champion Against Bullying
Chester, NY (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- October 1st marks the beginning of National Bullying Prevention Month. In support of this important initiative, MyFairyTaleBooks has teamed up with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center as a PACER Champion to raise awareness.
PACER created the campaign The End of Bullying Begins with Me in 2006 with a one-week event which has now evolved into a month-long effort that encourages organizations, students and educators to take an active role in the bullying prevention movement.
“Parents, grandparents, and educators need valuable tools to combat bullying. We tackle this issue in a sensitive, age-appropriate manner in one of our exclusive storybooks, The Good Friend,” says Kelly Mistry, owner of MyFairyTaleBooks LLC. MyFairyTaleBooks has pledged to donate 10% of all October sales of The Good Friend to PACER to support anti-bullying initiatives. In addition to the sales donation, MyFairyTaleBooks will continue the conversation via social media with exclusively created infographics, blog posts and by disseminating PACER resources to their customer-base throughout the year.
