DES MOINES, Iowa (PRWEB) January 25, 2015 -- gooisocial™, mygooi’s™ free mobile social application that encourages users to share the things they love, has been upgraded to make it easier to use and more widely available, the company said.

In part, the gooisocial platform enables small- and medium-sized businesses to readily connect with customers, mygooi president Jay Namboor noted: “Using gooisocial, individuals can share the things they love with other members of their gooi, enabling small and medium size businesses to compete on a much larger scale.”
The new version, gooisocial 1.3.1 for iPhone and 1.4 for Android, is available in Spanish, Portuguese and French as well as English, supporting the application’s expanding presence in Latin America.
It adds introductory screens to walk users through the process of the app, and lets users scan QR codes that direct them to business pages.
Businesses can now include information on hours, products, specials, testimonials and appointments; gooimeters added to the pages allow users to quickly gauge the business’ popularity.
And new software allows users to favorite businesses they want to keep tabs on.
The upgrades will automatically update apps of users who already set them up to accept automatic downloads; gooisocial will alert other users that a new version is available so they can download it.
