Pulling the shirt away from the neck and shoulders and feeling for a pulse, the police chief looked up at his detective and to the national seashore ranger. ‘He’s dead. Notify the state police. Considering the marks around his neck, I think we have a suspicious death.’”
Anderson says “The Lighthouse Murder” was written without gruesome accounts and erotic sex scenes, which she feels allows for imagination and thought on the part of the reader.
