MyWay Mobile Storage of Pittsburgh to Take Part in The Pittsburgh Chapter of NAPO "Get Organized Pittsburgh" Event on January 12, 2017
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 16, 2016 -- The Pittsburgh Chapter of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) is sponsoring a “Get Organized Pittsburgh” event on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the airport Embassy Suites. The event is an educational one, focused on helping the Pittsburgh community learn how to organize their homes, documents, photos, and schedules. The membership’s organizing experts will be presenting two panel presentations, designed to address common organizing challenges.
MyWay Mobile Storage of Pittsburgh is one of several local companies that will be at the event providing information about their services to help individuals and families get organized. Ed Sickmund, MyWay Mobile Storage of Pittsburgh Market Owner commented, “This is going to be a great event. It seems like just about everyone can use some help with organizing. MyWay has been a NAPO affiliate for many years now. We are happy to be a part of helping Pittsburghers get organized.”
“This event is designed to help people to get practical and expert tips on how to not only get organized, but gain access to valuable resources in the Pittsburgh area”, explained Jill Yesko, the Director of Marketing for the chapter. “We are hoping to highlight our members’ expertise and various skills in the areas of decluttering, time management, downsizing, hoarding, and organizing best practices for the home and office.” The cost to attend the half-day event is $15.00 if pre-registered or $20.00 at the door. Raffle prizes will be offered for all attendees. Registration and breakfast starts at 8:30 am with the panels starting at 9:00 a.m.
“A great organizing tip is to donate things you don’t use any more. “January is a great time to go through those hall closets, so bring us the coats your family no longer wears – someone else could really benefit from your decluttering efforts. With that in mind, we will be collecting gently used and new coats for The Salvation Army’s ongoing coat drive in Pittsburgh,” Yesko added. Participants can bring as many coats as desired or a monetary donation is appreciated.
