MyWay Mobile Storage Sponsors 2014 Cornhole Classic to Support the Wounded Warrior Project
Nevelle Island, PA (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- Pittsburgh’s Cintas First Aid & Safety will be host to the 2014 Cornhole Classic benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 5:30–10:00pm at RMU Island Sports Center. In addition to a thrilling cornhole tournament, the event will include a Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffle and food. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing cornhole teams. MyWay Mobile Storage is sponsoring the event along with Cintas, Robert Morris University, Street City Cornhole, Durable Documents, 84 Lumber, and the Carpenters Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC).
“The Wounded Warrior Project helps injured soldiers—warriors—returning home from conflicts around the world. I wanted to do something to help them,” said event organizer, Jeff Hancher, Cintas Sales Manager. “These brave individuals and their families need our support now more than ever.”
Hancher continued, “Wounded Warrior Project's primary vision is to foster the most successful well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history. We applaud that vision, and hope others will share in our support of their efforts by joining us at this event. We know Pittsburghers love cornhole, competition, and supporting our troops and we’re hoping for a good turnout.”

“Every dollar raised helps us continue and expand our programs for wounded warriors returning home to the Pittsburgh area. Everyone’s recovery process is different. Depending where they are in their own rehabilitative and transitional process, we help them find a program that fits them and their family’s needs,” said Melaine Huber, of Wounded Warriors Project. “We want warriors to Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Whether you are newly injured or have been on the path to recovery for a while, we are here to support you as you define your new normal.”
