MyWebGrocer Appoints Eric Healy as President to Manage Continued Growth
WINOOSKI, Vt. (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- MyWebGrocer, a leading provider of digital marketing and e-commerce solutions to the grocery and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries, has named Eric Healy its new president. Healy brings nearly two decades of experience working on leading consumer brands at worldwide advertising, marketing and technology organizations.
Healy joins MyWebGrocer from Publicis Groupe-owned Rosetta, where he served as chief executive officer and was charged with accelerating Rosetta’s position as a leading customer engagement agency that provides a wide range of personalized content, global e-commerce and marketing platform solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
“Eric is a proven, multi-disciplinary executive with a history of assembling and leading cohesive teams, driving new business, forging C-level relationships, delivering next generation marketing and commerce solutions and positioning organizations for future success,” said Rich Tarrant, MyWebGrocer founder and CEO. “We’re excited to capitalize on Eric’s deep retail and CPG expertise during such a pivotal and transformative time in the grocery space.”
Healy has held senior positions across many leading interactive and full-service marketing agencies. Before Rosetta, Healy was vice president, business lead at Sapient Corporation, where he co-led SapientNitro’s Boston office. His past leadership experience also includes serving as EVP, corporate development at Aegis Media North America; SVP, director of interactive at IPG-owned Mullen; and vice president, Strategy Group at Digitas, where he ran the agency’s retail practice. Earlier in his career, Healy held client side roles at The Rockport Company and its parent, Reebok International Ltd., serving as director of interactive and director of global e-commerce, respectively.
In his role as president, Healy will share responsibility for articulating and implementing MyWebGrocer’s strategic vision for the overall growth and management of the company as well as overseeing key functional aspects of the organization. He will also serve on MyWebGrocer’s board of directors along the company’s founder and members of HGGC (formerly Huntsman Gay Global Capital), a Palo Alto, Calif.-based middle market private equity firm.
Healy is intimately familiar with the challenges that grocery and CPG brands face in building highly personalized relationships with end consumers, while demonstrating business value through the increased use of omnichannel and digital experience platforms.
"While grocery e-commerce is quickly gaining mainstream traction, retail and CPG companies are increasingly being asked to anticipate consumers’ needs and thoughtfully deliver personalized communications that both streamline and enhance today’s shopping experience,” said Healy. “By addressing an evolved set of customer journeys, MyWebGrocer is enabling grocers and their CPG partners to navigate this digital shift and, in the process, monetize every interaction with today’s shopper.”
