NAPW Announces Renee Silver, R.N., M.S.N., Nurse Case Manager / Adjunct Facuty at Rehabilitation Perspectives / CUA, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Silver is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. Ms. Silver has more than two decades of nursing experience. She continues to work in the field, providing services to patients using the exceptional nursing skills she has honed over the years. Ms. Silver also shares those skills and her extensive knowledge with nursing students at a university.
At Rehabilitation Perspectives, a highly regarded rehabilitation company located in the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Silver holds the position of Nurse Case Manager. She manages Workers Comp cases, providing care and support to injured workers, coordinating their care, collaborating with other agencies as needed and communicating with everyone involved, from patient to insurance carrier to family.
In her role as Adjunct Faculty at The Catholic University of America(CUA), Ms. Silver generously shares her vast nursing knowledge and medical insight, particularly in the trauma area, with students. In a hospital setting and working under the direction of CUA faculty, she provides guidance to a group of students, managing their patient assignments and educational requirements, all the while keeping a close eye on the patients to ensure their medical needs are always being met.
