As an human resources (HR) executive with more than 16 years of experience across multiple countries, Ms. Mairena’s background includes wholesale, retail and other non-governmental industries. She has demonstrated success in developing individuals and leaders, designing and implementing programs for change management, internal communication, developing / implementing policies, advising on the solution of structural changes, team building, compliance and conflict resolutions.
Ms. Mairena has worked for leaders of industry in Latin America in the HR sector, including Grupo Solid Latin American Paints Company, Pepsi, Walmart and SNV Netherlands Development Organization. In Honduras, she held the title of Human Resources Country Manager at Walmart and Associate Relations and Organizational Climate Manager for Walmart in Nicaragua.
