Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Paula Bridgewater as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Paula into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones.” Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
In July of 2015, Ms. Bridgewater will embark upon a new challenge in her career as Senior Manager of Data Governance / Data Quality at Scotia Bank. The international bank is a leading financial services provider to North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Central America and parts of Asia.
Prior to joining Scotia Bank, Ms. Bridgewater enjoyed an accomplished career at Deloitte as an Enterprise Services Risk Manager. Deloitte provides audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services to select clients worldwide. Using her proven talents in client relationship building, communication and business development and transformation, she effectively mitigated business risks through data analytics and data governance. She plans to apply this knowledge and skillset to build Scotia’s Data Governance practice.
In 2009, Ms. Bridgewater faced major life changes that hindered her from moving forward. The experience served as a catalyst for the development of her uniquely designed personal development training program, “The Change Blueprint.” It focuses primarily on the importance of women knowing their worth by making and sustaining changes that will help them achieve their desired goals.
“The Change Blueprint teaches women how to gain clarity, deal with fears and limit beliefs that can block, change and stop them from recognizing both their intrinsic and extrinsic worth,” said Ms. Bridgewater.
Since the launch of her program, Ms. Bridgewater has successfully coached countless friends, colleagues and entrepreneurs to make key life changes and experience breakthroughs that allow them to maximize their time and live a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
“It is my mission to equip individuals with the mindset and strategies to embrace and welcome change when it knocks upon life’s door, regardless of the form it takes,” she said.
