NAPW Inducts Terri Clevenger, Founder/President of Continuum Health Communications, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 22, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Terri Clevenger as a 2016-2017 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in public relations in the healthcare sector. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Terri with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Terri Clevenger started her career with the intent to become a doctor. While her life path did not lead to medical school, she remained in the healthcare industry and utilized her writing and strategic thinking skills through working in the marketing sector. Today, she owns and operates her own company that specializes in healthcare communications.
“I started Continuum Health Communications ten years ago,” Ms. Clevenger said. “Before that, I was with a few agencies in my 30-plus year career in healthcare communications. As Founder and President, I manage and supervise employees through my virtual agency, develop operating procedures, run human resources, develop programming, manage all clients and oversee business development.”
Ms. Clevenger brings a wide range of skills and experience to the table, including writing, strategic/creative thinking and focused execution. She specializes in core messaging and brand development, advocacy and media relations, market education, internal communications, reputation management, crisis communications and content strategy.
In recognition of her hard work, Ms. Clevenger recently graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and was recently accepted into the Inner City Capital Connections program in Boston. She is also scheduled to be profiled in a feature this fall in Women of Distinction magazine.
For her commitment to achieving success according to her personal standards of excellence, and for her outstanding accomplishments in enriching her position with her diversified proficiencies, Ms. Clevenger is being honored as a leader and role model for her profession.
